What is Pandore?
Pandore is a Mac app that brings together your projects, notes, files, tasks and calendar, and puts AI assistants — Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI — to work in them with the context of each project. It works for a freelance business as well as for studies or personal projects, and it is free during the beta.
Is it really free?
Yes. Pandore is free during the beta, with no account and no credit card.
Do I need an AI subscription?
Pandore doesn’t sell AI: it drives the assistant installed on your Mac, with your own account at its provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). Without an assistant, everything else still works: projects, tasks, calendar, finances.
Which assistants are supported?
Claude Code is verified. Codex and Gemini CLI follow their documentation and are still marked experimental. One assistant is active at a time; you can switch in the settings.
What if I don’t have clients?
Pick “My projects” mode: clients, pipeline and finances disappear, and your projects no longer need a client. “Both” keeps your business and your personal projects apart. Nothing is deleted when you switch modes.
Which Mac do I need?
An Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 11 or later. The app is in English or French, following your Mac’s language. Invoicing and tax settings follow French rules for now.

The beta isn’t signed by Apple yet. Drag Pandore to Applications, then right-click → Open. On macOS 15 and later, try to open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → “Open Anyway”.
How do I update to a new version?
Download the latest version and replace the old one in Applications. Your data lives separately: it stays where it is, and Pandore updates it on first launch.
